A vision evolved for a place that combined all opportunities for landscape, merging SUDs and ecology within a matrix of green lungs that filtered to rural character edges, all with a high quality, locally inspired architecture that in combination, would be appreciated with serendipity and as a place for homes that would endure, mature and be cherished.
To replicate the limited and isolated more historic forms would create an architecture that is stifled. As such, the proposal also looks to the wider Lower Pennington area and references DNA in the wider setting, so that the experience joins the collective to enhance and reinforce.
